TAX SALE PUBLIC AUCTION

The tax collector of the Town of Bethel has levied upon the following properties in Bethel and slated them for public auction to satisfy delinquent taxes and charges under C.G.S. § 12-157. Volume and page numbers refer to the Town’s land records. Unless paid, these properties will be auctioned in “as is” condition at 10:00 a.m. on April 29, 2020 at the Clifford J. Hurgin Municipal Center at 1 School Street in Bethel.
- 64 Nashville Road Unit E (Volume 612 Page 526) owned by Joseph P. McCarthy and Patricia R. McCarthy or their Estates, owing $15,646.27. Joseph Patrick McCarthy; Dawn McCarthy; Quail Run Condominium Association, Inc.; Western Connecticut Medical Group, P.C. as successor to Danbury Office of Physician Services, PC and Danbury OPS, PC; the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services; the United States Internal Revenue Service; and the surviving spouse and heirs of Joseph P. McCarthy and Patricia R. McCarthy may have interests which will be extinguished by the sale.
- 6 Sharon Court (Volume 902 Page 288) owned by Maria A. Pereira and Valcir Alves Dos Santos, owing $19,921.05. PNC Bank, N.A. as successor to National City Bank may have interests which will be extinguished by the sale.
- 4 Summit Lane (Volume 1048 Page 108) owned by Thomas R. Reed and Mary Elizabeth Reed a/k/a Mary E. Reed, owing $27,894.66. Bank of America, N.A. and Webster Bank, N.A. may have interests which will be extinguished by the sale.
The dollar amounts listed are through the end of last month. Additional taxes, interest, fees, and other charges authorized by law accruing after the last day of the month immediately preceding this notice are owed in addition to the amount indicated as due and owing in this notice.
Bidders must present $5,000 per property in certified funds payable to “Pullman & Comley, Trustee” on the day of the sale, and the winning bidder must pay the balance of the sale price within 5 days or forfeit that deposit.
