Child Safety Seat Installation

We ask that parents and caregivers that utilize our Car Seat Clinics and services follow standard safety precautions for COVID-19, including wearing masks at all times and social distancing.  We ask that during our clinics, only the vehicle operator attend when possible.

 

The Department is staffed with several officers who are trained in the installation of Child Safety Seats. Installations/inspections are done by appointment only. This service is free, however, donations are greatly appreciated and they are strictly used for child safety events, training, and related equipment.

-Call 203-744-7900 Ext. 693 and leave a voicemail message (this is a voicemail only phone line and it is only checked periodically). A car seat technician will call you back to set up an appointment.
